Stereotypically June is the month women wish to marry, so I decided to do it with couples who are in crisis and make no effort to try to salvage their marriage.
These couples in this waterlogged piece of garbage poured a ton of cash into this wedding in attempt to salvage a semblance of the marriage but in the end they all croak in the water. At times together as a couple.
Now before the couples are “savagely” torn apart by the six headed shark it is the graduation party for USBC School of Biology and the students are on the lab boat drinking and fooling around.
A man tries to save his relationship but his significant other tosses her $150 ring into water as she spots a dorsal fin racing towards the boat. The shark swims beneath the boat and bursts through the bottom, killing one of the graduates instantly and then the rest of the people on board.
Flash forward to today. A co-founder of a company guaranteeing marriage recovery, Will brings four dysfunctional couples to a remote location. Looking for Will’s wife Suzanne, the couples are left wondering when he brushes off their curiosity. In reality, Suzanne is on a boat with her boyfriend Zach who’s waiting for Will to sign the divorce papers.
Will wishes to build confidence and trust among the couples through a trust building exercise that would allow him to do so. First, Kip and Angie do not pass, while headstrong lawyer Mary separates from her husband James and does it with Will.
To everyone’s surprise, Will shows them scuba diving gear and guides them towards a diving platform. There, Rebecca and Brad are waiting with champagne in hand, but not for long because the couple was paddle boarding.
Turns out, the couple became shark food because no one heard their screams. Zach and Suzanne, on the other hand, are in the middle of a paddle boarding session, while Will feels the residual anger.
While Will is paddle boarding, the couples are preparing. Jake (Chris Fisher) wants to venture out on the island to fulfill his need for exploring after falling down a dark net rabbit hole, only to be stopped by his conspiracy theorist wife, Sarah (Meghan Oberholzer), who is a meteorologist and doesn’t believe in his wild theories.
On the other hand, Duke’s (Jonathan Pienaar) & Daphne (Nikita Faber) begins to make advances on Kip while she is attempting to put on her wetsuit. Angie notices this and accosts her for trying to hit on her spouse.
The couples think that Mary has been shark bitten when they see blood gushing out from around her. To their amazement, they realize it’s Brad’s body cut in half. They swim to Brad’s boat, but soon they realize they are dealing with a six-headed shark and find themselves trapped.
Will and Duke start paddling to shore as Duke is going to make a bang stick which he knows will work on the shark. He gets onto the beach and using the weapon, starts attacking the remaining heads. After only hitting one head with the bang stick, the shark devoured him.
Daphne begins to feel remorseful after Duke dies which is how she ends up just floating through the movie, until she finally makes her way to some rocks and attempts to bait the shark into attacking her. That happens later after they take cover in the lighthouse.
Sharah picks a spot on the wall, overlooks the ocean, and spots a massive storm brewing. She warns them that if the storm hits, it will cause a lot of rain and tornadoes. Unlike Sarah, as a meteorologist, she is supposed to be aware that tornadoes do not occur in Mexico which is where the movie is set, but Will recalls the lab that was floating and tells everyone to get to it.
The lab, a remnant of the 84 shark massacre, keeps them huddled so that the shark can kill both Sarah and Jake, after they declare their undying love for one another.
After a few rounds of screaming and trying to contact somebody who hasn’t been reachable in years with outdated equipment, Will gets in contact with Suzanne and tells her what he was able to learn before the storm hits; that they are on their way to the lighthouse.
Once the survivors notice the lighthouse, which is about five miles and several rocky shorelines away, they start running. Kip and Angie decide that if they survive this ordeal, they will go their separate ways. The abyss creature is unlikely to bother them as it can “walk” on land using it’s four other heads.
Daphne leaves the group without telling anyone. Notice James is having a hard time, but will Mary and Zoe reach the lighthouse?
At this stage, James knows that Zach’s boat and the whirlpool the shark has created is all that will save him, but they don’t reach the shore.
James isn’t the only one who has had enough of Will’s unreciprocated jealousy. Effortless rage consumes everyone when the shark emerges onto land, thoroughly blasting the remains of the lighthouse. Hurling one of its regenerating heads and mouth towards James, shredding him into bits.
With the calm waters rushing towards them, Will and Mary prepare the canisters to eliminate the freaky shark. In the early afternoon sun, expecting to get a choice, wishing to never see the shore again. But the rest of the world doesn’t have the same idea, and they head back to the boat. Chased onto the shore, Will manages to got a shot in and erupts the beast, but not without a hefty chase first.
Do you think that James was correct in believing that Will and Mary were having a secret romance? Did James actually get murdered at the lighthouse?
While it’s tough to admit, and trust me I had to do this more than once, one of the great reasons to see this film is that the shark somehow manages to change its size. From the first half of the movie you will see a somewhat small shark, then by the second half of the movie the shark is almost the size of the Empire State Building. Not to mention the fact that it can swim in shallow water, ankle deep, with just the fin above water, while everyone can see its shadow swimming around in the water.
If you are looking for shark movies and are a fan of painful movies where torture is the plot, then I guarantee you that everything around this film is pure torture.

I’m certainly glad that there is no 4-Headed Shark Attack for quite a few reasons, however, there is no mystery when I say that I doubt anyone would believe that there exists a shark with four heads.
