Indiana Jones is back in search of the Holy Grail and to fight off the Nazis. And he still hates snakes.

Review

As the final installment in the original Indiana Jones Trilogy (a fourth film is currently in production) Harrison Ford returns with the help of Steven Speilberg to make the best Jones film yet. Some swear by Raiders of the Lost Ark, but I believe The Last Crusade has more adventure and a better storyline.

Indy must go off to Europe to search for his father (played briliantly by Sean Connery) who has gone missing in his search for his life’s passion, the Holy Grail of Christ. The Grail promises eternal life and of course the Nazis are always in the market for that so they prove to be the evil villians chasing the Grail as well. Adventure ensues and cue the theme music.

This movie is just great fun. It’s the perfect mix of fun, smarts and adventure. The test of a truly good movie is how well the audience can either relate with the film or connect with the main character and with The Last Crusade, I want to be Indiana Jones, the archaeologist professor, and travel to distant lands to search for historical artifacts while battling Nazis and saving the world.

I guess it passes the test then.
