Based on of the Creepshow model, this one has three Stephen King short stories turned into three half hour movies.

The first and best is called Quitters Inc. and stars James Woods as a man who is unsuccessful at his many attempts to quit smoking. After signing the contract the agency of Quitters Inc., use any and all means of surveillance and persuasion to make you quit. After a few chances to go straight, Quitters begins to enforce your urge to break the bad habit, in all sorts of ways that will make you cringe and laugh. This is by far the best episode of Cats Eye.

Our second story, called The Ledge, involves Robert Hayes, the guy from Airplane, as a man who while in Vegas, takes a bet to walk around the edge of a skyscraper. Not really too much to this one other than what I just told you, no big surprises or gore. The weakest of the three stories.

Last is The General which has little Drew Barrymore being attacked by a breath-stealing goblin of some kind. Although no one believes her about the little critter in her room, Drew and her pet cat make a last stand one night and try to bring the goblin down. Although not a great story the goblin is quite amusing and he makes all sorts of little noises and sayings. The effects however are almost all blue screened.

The reason the movie is called Cat’s Eye is because the theme that ties the movie together is the appearance of the same stray cat in each of the episodes. Other than that each story is unrelated.
