Two years after the events at the Brown Farm, young Brad Brown is coming back to Groves Bend to spend the Easter holiday with his Grandmother. The only problem is that a nest full of Crite (Critters) eggs have been discovered and are about to hatch. Brad and the two cosmic bounty hunters Ug and Charlie are once again headed into battle with the ever hungry Critters, or as they are more commonly known in Groves Bend, space porcupines.
The Critters are back with slightly better effects and not too much else. Taking place during Easter the Crite eggs are of course painted up and placed all around Groves Bend and once the eggs hatch massive chaos follows. There is quite an amusing scene involving the Easter Bunny that will give you a good chuckle.
There is also a good little side story in Critters 2 that shows how the town feels about the returning Brad Brown and how they react to him after his family gets most of the blame for what happened the first time around.
If you enjoyed the first Critters this one won’t disappoint you by any means. Some humor, gore and a little Easter Bunny munching can’t hurt either.
