In this sequel to the classic, another rogue shark shows up in Amity for a little buffet action and as usual he does not get a warm welcome. Chief Brody once again comes to the rescue as his son and around ten other teens are stranded in the currents and drifting out to the ocean with a hungry white shark in pursuit. Who will get there first Super Brody or a hungry shark looking for a human 10 piece of teen nuggets.

Although not Jaws, this was a pretty decent sequel. There are some great scenes in this installment as we see a little more humor and bigger stunts, watch as the chopper comes in to drop the tow line, and the famous water skiing scene is good as well.

This one seems to drag just a little bit and is not on par with the suspense of the first one. Plus this is where I started to root for the shark, sic ’em boy.

Not bad, but for this to work better it should have been set in a different location and had a whole new cast, not that Brody is bad but dealing with a giant shark once is hard enough, but twice? Like I said this is not bad by any means, but it just falls so short of the orginal.
